Shawl and a Scarf

Its funny. I have lived in California for a long time. I know, without a doubt, that we likely won't see cool weather until Halloween at the earliest. When I lived in San Martin (a sweet little town just south of the SF bay area and just north of Monterey bay area), September and October were the most difficult for me because this was when the wind stopped blowing. Here in Los Banos (right SMACK in the middle of California) the wind picks up in Sept / Oct, yay! But its still hot. Bleh. At least I am too far north to get the hot Santa Ana winds.
I have been daydreaming lately that I should live out of the RV and travel to Alaska for summers and back to California (or maybe southern Oregon) for winters.

Okay, I am rambling. I just want to pull out the warm clothes and fire up the hot tub again, that's all!
In my excitement for something that won't be happening for another 6 weeks, I have been a crochet fiend.

I love these triangular shawls. I've made a whole mess of them in the past and have given many as gifts. I got the idea from Sweet November. Remember that movie? Was that not the best shawl ever? I haven't quite replicated it but I like what I've got :-)
