Pinteresting Home Ideas

I am one of those people who is always changing my house around. The kids come in while I am pushing furniture around and ask "rearranging again?". Its fun, though! And of course, Pinterest constantly keeps me in the mood to change stuff. I'll bet it does the same to you, am I right?

Here is some of what is floating my boat today. We might have a big weekend in store for us, if you know what I mean ;-)

Beginning with the entryway. I almost have enough room to do this. If I didn't include the shutters. Adorable, right???

Now for the kitchen:

This is the best idea I have ever seen!!  Love, love, love the bar seating.

And now a coffee bar. Oh, yes. I could do this too.

I honestly don't know why I hadn't thought of this. My son hoards tea. (Yes, it really is tea that he has. I know the difference...) I'll bet I could raid his room for canisters.....

If only I had an attic. Attics are not common in California. I haven never seen an useable one here. We just have insulated rafters in the homes here. I have seen them back east and I am so jellie.......

Aren't these sleeping compartments to die for? I need this in my future farm house. So my grandchildren will have a cool place to sleep.

I love this bathroom. Mine is a rectangular hallway rather than a square like this one below. Hardly room for romantic decor like this. But the bath does give me hope. I would like nothing better than to rip out the shower insert and put in one of these lovely tubs. I just never thought there was enough room.....

And, for the yard. I want something hanging, whether it is a hammock or a swing bed or sofa. Want!!

This past weekend I moved my sewing stuff and most of my fabrics out to my RV. My RV, aka the Jezebel, will be my new studio. Yay!! So now I can hope to reclaim my house. It, uh, hasn't happened yet, the reclaim part. That might have something to do with my reality of kids and pets. Ahhh, life is not as pretty as in the carefully staged photos. Can I hear an Amen?
